Tijd van komen en gaan.
Omschrijving:
Onderweg naar de visumdienst beland ik in een file van maar liefst anderhalf uur. Me groen en geel ergerend bedenk ik me dat het de hoogste TIJD is om weer naar Ghana te gaan, waar de mensen nog zeeën van TIJD hebben, en berusten in hun lot: komt de bus vandaag niet, dan vast wel morgen, of anders overmorgen.
En wij maar klagen over ons openbaar vervoer en de files!
Want wat is nou een file van anderhalf uur vergeleken met de rij van 2 uur bij de bank om je traveller-cheques in te wisselen(nee, pinnen kan er nog steeds niet). Of het kopen van een buskaartje naar Mole dat maar liefst 4 uur in beslag neemt omdat de kaartjesverkoper niet op komt dagen, en uiteindelijk na het bemachtigen van het buskaartje te horen krijgen dat het hotel in Mole vol is,dus het überhaupt geen zin heeft om er heen te gaan.
Om tenslotte maar te zwijgen over de WACHTTIJDEN in het ziekenhuis: je bent allang blij als je dezelfde dag nog geholpen wordt!
Dus wat is TIJD?
Nog net voor SLUITINGSTIJD kom ik bij de visumdienst aan. De baliemedewerker neemt alle TIJD om mijn aanvraag door te lezen: "Mevrouw, u heeft een P.O. Box nummer opgegeven in Ghana, i.p.v. een straatnaam" "Dat klopt, ze hebben er nl. maar een paar straten (met naam), zodat iedereen (die post krijgt) een postbus heeft" "Maar u heeft toch echt een straatnaam nodig voor uw verblijf" "Ja maar....." Ïk google het straks wel even voor u".
Rustig blijven, lekker laten googelen, denk ik bij mezelf. Hij komt er vanzelf wel achter. "Heeft u een kopie van uw ticket bij u?" "Nee, helaas niet. Stom van me. Net als ik besluit om het hele zaakje maar weer mee naar huis te nemen zegt hij: "Maar dat mag u ook doorfaxen hoor". Gelukkig toch niet voor noppes anderhalf uur in de file gestaan.
Opgelucht verlaat ik het kantoor van de visumdienst.
Dus wat is TIJD?
Ik herinner me een avondvullende discussie een aantal jaren geleden over het begrip TIJD, misschien wel het grootste verschil tussen Nederland en Ghana: TIJD.
In Ghana heeft men nog TIJD voor elkaar, wij moeten er tijd voor maken.
In ieder geval is de TIJD van gaan weer gekomen.
Over 1 week vertrek ik samen met mijn vader voor ruim 2 weken naar Ghana.
WE GAAN ER EEN GEWELDIGE TIJD VAN MAKEN!

Tijd van komen en gaan.
Omschrijving:
Onderweg naar de visumdienst beland ik in een file van maar liefst anderhalf uur. Me groen en geel ergerend bedenk ik me dat het de hoogste TIJD is om weer naar Ghana te gaan, waar de mensen nog zeeën van TIJD hebben, en berusten in hun lot: komt de bus vandaag niet, dan vast wel morgen, of anders overmorgen.
En wij maar klagen over ons openbaar vervoer en de files!
Want wat is nou een file van anderhalf uur vergeleken met de rij van 2 uur bij de bank om je traveller-cheques in te wisselen(nee, pinnen kan er nog steeds niet). Of het kopen van een buskaartje naar Mole dat maar liefst 4 uur in beslag neemt omdat de kaartjesverkoper niet op komt dagen, en uiteindelijk na het bemachtigen van het buskaartje te horen krijgen dat het hotel in Mole vol is,dus het überhaupt geen zin heeft om er heen te gaan.
Om tenslotte maar te zwijgen over de WACHTTIJDEN in het ziekenhuis: je bent allang blij als je dezelfde dag nog geholpen wordt!
Dus wat is TIJD?
Nog net voor SLUITINGSTIJD kom ik bij de visumdienst aan. De baliemedewerker neemt alle TIJD om mijn aanvraag door te lezen: "Mevrouw, u heeft een P.O. Box nummer opgegeven in Ghana, i.p.v. een straatnaam" "Dat klopt, ze hebben er nl. maar een paar straten (met naam), zodat iedereen (die post krijgt) een postbus heeft" "Maar u heeft toch echt een straatnaam nodig voor uw verblijf" "Ja maar....." Ïk google het straks wel even voor u".
Rustig blijven, lekker laten googelen, denk ik bij mezelf. Hij komt er vanzelf wel achter. "Heeft u een kopie van uw ticket bij u?" "Nee, helaas niet. Stom van me. Net als ik besluit om het hele zaakje maar weer mee naar huis te nemen zegt hij: "Maar dat mag u ook doorfaxen hoor". Gelukkig toch niet voor noppes anderhalf uur in de file gestaan.
Opgelucht verlaat ik het kantoor van de visumdienst.
Dus wat is TIJD?
Ik herinner me een avondvullende discussie een aantal jaren geleden over het begrip TIJD, misschien wel het grootste verschil tussen Nederland en Ghana: TIJD.
In Ghana heeft men nog TIJD voor elkaar, wij moeten er tijd voor maken.
In ieder geval is de TIJD van gaan weer gekomen.
Over 1 week vertrek ik samen met mijn vader voor ruim 2 weken naar Ghana.
WE GAAN ER EEN GEWELDIGE TIJD VAN MAKEN!

Tijd van komen en gaan.
Omschrijving:
Onderweg naar de visumdienst beland ik in een file van maar liefst anderhalf uur. Me groen en geel ergerend bedenk ik me dat het de hoogste TIJD is om weer naar Ghana te gaan, waar de mensen nog zeeën van TIJD hebben, en berusten in hun lot: komt de bus vandaag niet, dan vast wel morgen, of anders overmorgen.
En wij maar klagen over ons openbaar vervoer en de files!
Want wat is nou een file van anderhalf uur vergeleken met de rij van 2 uur bij de bank om je traveller-cheques in te wisselen(nee, pinnen kan er nog steeds niet). Of het kopen van een buskaartje naar Mole dat maar liefst 4 uur in beslag neemt omdat de kaartjesverkoper niet op komt dagen, en uiteindelijk na het bemachtigen van het buskaartje te horen krijgen dat het hotel in Mole vol is,dus het überhaupt geen zin heeft om er heen te gaan.
Om tenslotte maar te zwijgen over de WACHTTIJDEN in het ziekenhuis: je bent allang blij als je dezelfde dag nog geholpen wordt!
Dus wat is TIJD?
Nog net voor SLUITINGSTIJD kom ik bij de visumdienst aan. De baliemedewerker neemt alle TIJD om mijn aanvraag door te lezen: "Mevrouw, u heeft een P.O. Box nummer opgegeven in Ghana, i.p.v. een straatnaam" "Dat klopt, ze hebben er nl. maar een paar straten (met naam), zodat iedereen (die post krijgt) een postbus heeft" "Maar u heeft toch echt een straatnaam nodig voor uw verblijf" "Ja maar....." Ïk google het straks wel even voor u".
Rustig blijven, lekker laten googelen, denk ik bij mezelf. Hij komt er vanzelf wel achter. "Heeft u een kopie van uw ticket bij u?" "Nee, helaas niet. Stom van me. Net als ik besluit om het hele zaakje maar weer mee naar huis te nemen zegt hij: "Maar dat mag u ook doorfaxen hoor". Gelukkig toch niet voor noppes anderhalf uur in de file gestaan.
Opgelucht verlaat ik het kantoor van de visumdienst.
Dus wat is TIJD?
Ik herinner me een avondvullende discussie een aantal jaren geleden over het begrip TIJD, misschien wel het grootste verschil tussen Nederland en Ghana: TIJD.
In Ghana heeft men nog TIJD voor elkaar, wij moeten er tijd voor maken.
In ieder geval is de TIJD van gaan weer gekomen.
Over 1 week vertrek ik samen met mijn vader voor ruim 2 weken naar Ghana.
WE GAAN ER EEN GEWELDIGE TIJD VAN MAKEN!

Tijd van komen en gaan.
Omschrijving:
Onderweg naar de visumdienst beland ik in een file van maar liefst anderhalf uur. Me groen en geel ergerend bedenk ik me dat het de hoogste TIJD is om weer naar Ghana te gaan, waar de mensen nog zeeën van TIJD hebben, en berusten in hun lot: komt de bus vandaag niet, dan vast wel morgen, of anders overmorgen.
En wij maar klagen over ons openbaar vervoer en de files!
Want wat is nou een file van anderhalf uur vergeleken met de rij van 2 uur bij de bank om je traveller-cheques in te wisselen(nee, pinnen kan er nog steeds niet). Of het kopen van een buskaartje naar Mole dat maar liefst 4 uur in beslag neemt omdat de kaartjesverkoper niet op komt dagen, en uiteindelijk na het bemachtigen van het buskaartje te horen krijgen dat het hotel in Mole vol is,dus het überhaupt geen zin heeft om er heen te gaan.
Om tenslotte maar te zwijgen over de WACHTTIJDEN in het ziekenhuis: je bent allang blij als je dezelfde dag nog geholpen wordt!
Dus wat is TIJD?
Nog net voor SLUITINGSTIJD kom ik bij de visumdienst aan. De baliemedewerker neemt alle TIJD om mijn aanvraag door te lezen: "Mevrouw, u heeft een P.O. Box nummer opgegeven in Ghana, i.p.v. een straatnaam" "Dat klopt, ze hebben er nl. maar een paar straten (met naam), zodat iedereen (die post krijgt) een postbus heeft" "Maar u heeft toch echt een straatnaam nodig voor uw verblijf" "Ja maar....." Ïk google het straks wel even voor u".
Rustig blijven, lekker laten googelen, denk ik bij mezelf. Hij komt er vanzelf wel achter. "Heeft u een kopie van uw ticket bij u?" "Nee, helaas niet. Stom van me. Net als ik besluit om het hele zaakje maar weer mee naar huis te nemen zegt hij: "Maar dat mag u ook doorfaxen hoor". Gelukkig toch niet voor noppes anderhalf uur in de file gestaan.
Opgelucht verlaat ik het kantoor van de visumdienst.
Dus wat is TIJD?
Ik herinner me een avondvullende discussie een aantal jaren geleden over het begrip TIJD, misschien wel het grootste verschil tussen Nederland en Ghana: TIJD.
In Ghana heeft men nog TIJD voor elkaar, wij moeten er tijd voor maken.
In ieder geval is de TIJD van gaan weer gekomen.
Over 1 week vertrek ik samen met mijn vader voor ruim 2 weken naar Ghana.
WE GAAN ER EEN GEWELDIGE TIJD VAN MAKEN!

[description] => Onderweg naar de visumdienst beland ik in een file van maar liefst anderhalf uur. Me groen en geel ergerend bedenk ik me dat het de hoogste TIJD is om weer naar Ghana te gaan, waar de mensen nog zeeën van TIJD hebben, en berusten in hun lot: komt de bus vandaag niet, dan vast wel morgen, of anders overmorgen.
En wij maar klagen over ons openbaar vervoer en de files!
Want wat is nou een file van anderhalf uur vergeleken met de rij van 2 uur bij de bank om je traveller-cheques in te wisselen(nee, pinnen kan er nog steeds niet). Of het kopen van een buskaartje naar Mole dat maar liefst 4 uur in beslag neemt omdat de kaartjesverkoper niet op komt dagen, en uiteindelijk na het bemachtigen van het buskaartje te horen krijgen dat het hotel in Mole vol is,dus het überhaupt geen zin heeft om er heen te gaan.
Om tenslotte maar te zwijgen over de WACHTTIJDEN in het ziekenhuis: je bent allang blij als je dezelfde dag nog geholpen wordt!
Dus wat is TIJD?
Nog net voor SLUITINGSTIJD kom ik bij de visumdienst aan. De baliemedewerker neemt alle TIJD om mijn aanvraag door te lezen: "Mevrouw, u heeft een P.O. Box nummer opgegeven in Ghana, i.p.v. een straatnaam" "Dat klopt, ze hebben er nl. maar een paar straten (met naam), zodat iedereen (die post krijgt) een postbus heeft" "Maar u heeft toch echt een straatnaam nodig voor uw verblijf" "Ja maar....." Ïk google het straks wel even voor u".
Rustig blijven, lekker laten googelen, denk ik bij mezelf. Hij komt er vanzelf wel achter. "Heeft u een kopie van uw ticket bij u?" "Nee, helaas niet. Stom van me. Net als ik besluit om het hele zaakje maar weer mee naar huis te nemen zegt hij: "Maar dat mag u ook doorfaxen hoor". Gelukkig toch niet voor noppes anderhalf uur in de file gestaan.
Opgelucht verlaat ik het kantoor van de visumdienst.
Dus wat is TIJD?
Ik herinner me een avondvullende discussie een aantal jaren geleden over het begrip TIJD, misschien wel het grootste verschil tussen Nederland en Ghana: TIJD.
In Ghana heeft men nog TIJD voor elkaar, wij moeten er tijd voor maken.
In ieder geval is de TIJD van gaan weer gekomen.
Over 1 week vertrek ik samen met mijn vader voor ruim 2 weken naar Ghana.
